Our gowns are expertly designed and fabricated from Sontara® spunlaced fabric by DuPont. Hightech Sontara® is fully fluid and bacteria repellent and yet it is soft and comfortable to wear. The benefits and advantages of non-woven fabrics in healthcare have been widely recognised. Several studies have determined the surgical infection risk is significantly lower when using single-use, non-woven surgical gowns and drapes.
Our range of sterile surgical gowns are custom designed for long procedures with extensive fluid outcomes. The critical arm area are reinforced with Tyvek® and the chest with an additional layer of advanced Tyvek® ‘C’ fabric. The generous reinforced areas offer extra protection during extended periods at the operating table. With design and clever use of the advanced fabrics an optimum balance between protection and comfort is achieved.
All Multigate Compro gowns are available as individual packs or can be incorporated into procedure packs custom made to your specifications.
